I always claim the original is best in just about everything. I will stand by that claim in this post. The only time I enjoy anything close to screamy music is when I hear Janis Joplin sing "Piece of My Heart." I think it's because she doesn't come off as just screaming her lungs out in the mic. There is some passion and emotion in in her voice.
Faith Hill recorded the same song and it became a country hit in...I don't even know...looks like the mid 90s. I really just don't like this at all, and I'm not one of those country music haters. It's just that I am a music lover and prefer the original of this song WAY more.
